Who we are

Helmable is a marketing content platform operated by SmarThinkerz. It helps users generate marketing content and, where enabled, publish that content to connected accounts. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address, your name if you provide it, and authentication credentials. We use a third party authentication and database provider to store this information securely.

Content you create. We store the marketing content you generate through the Service, along with the inputs, prompts, and settings you provide to generate it. This content is associated with your account.

Payment information. When you purchase a subscription, payment is processed by our third party payment provider. We receive confirmation of payment, the plan purchased, and a payment reference. We do not store your full card number or card security details on our systems.

Connected account information. If you choose to connect a social media account to publish content, we store the access credentials (tokens) that permit the Service to post on your behalf, along with the identifier of the connected account or page. We store these credentials only to provide the publishing feature, and only for the accounts you explicitly connect. You can disconnect a connected account at any time.

Usage information. We collect basic information about how you use the Service, such as the tools you use and the volume of content you generate, in order to operate the Service, enforce plan limits, and improve the product.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Create and manage your account
• Generate the marketing content you request
• Process your payments and manage your subscription
• Publish content to accounts you have connected, at your direction
• Enforce the usage limits of your plan
• Communicate with you about your account, including transactional email
• Improve, secure, and troubleshoot the Service

Third parties we share information with

We use trusted third party service providers to operate the Service. We share information with them only as needed to provide the Service:

Database and authentication provider. We use a third party platform to store your account, profile, content, and connected account information securely.

AI content generation provider. We send the inputs and prompts you provide to a third party AI provider in order to generate marketing content. This provider processes your inputs to return generated content.

Email provider. We use a third party email service to send transactional messages, such as account and subscription notifications.

Payment provider. We use a third party payment processor to handle subscription payments. Your payment details are handled by that provider under its own terms and privacy practices.

Social media platforms. When you connect a social account and publish content, we transmit that content and the necessary credentials to the relevant platform (for example, a professional network or a social page) in order to publish on your behalf.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Data retention

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or request deletion, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records to comply with legal, accounting, or security obligations.

Connected account credentials are retained only while the account remains connected. When you disconnect an account, the associated credentials are deleted.

Your rights and choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Access. You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

Correction. You can update your account information within the Service or by contacting us.

Deletion. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal information. See the section below on how to request deletion.

Disconnecting accounts. You can disconnect any connected social account at any time, which removes the stored credentials for that account.

How to request deletion of your data

You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time. To do so, contact us at the email address provided at the end of this policy with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”, using the email address associated with your account. On receipt of a valid request, we will delete your account, your stored content, and any connected account credentials, and confirm once the deletion is complete, except for records we are legally required to retain.

Cookies

The Service uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to operate core features. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites for advertising purposes.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including secure storage of credentials and restricted access to personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to address vulnerabilities responsibly.

Children

The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
